[Approved AACN ACCNS-AG - Adult Gerontology CNSination Exam – Success Pathway Course] In This Course of ,The ACCNS-AG exam certifies advanced practice nurses as Adult-Gerontology Clinical Nurse Specialists who provide expert consultation and direct care to acutely ill adult patients. Content includes advanced pathophysiology, pharmacology, diagnostic reasoning, evidence-based practice, systems leadership, and quality improvement. The computer-based exam contains 175 multiple-choice questions (150 scored) over 3.5 hours. Eligibility requires completion of an accredited CNS master’s or doctoral program with adult-gerontology population focus and supervised clinical practicum. Passing awards the ACCNS-AG credential, recognized by state boards of nursing for APRN licensure and by hospitals for advanced clinical leadership roles.
